Accessibility
Contrast, keyboard use, image descriptions and the parts we know still need work.
What we did
- Text and background contrast checked against WCAG 2.1 AA, including the gold on dark panels
- Every interactive element reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring
- Headings in order, so a screen reader can skip through the page structure
- Product photos carry a description naming the piece, the finish and the size
- Size tables marked up as tables, not as rows of styled text
Known gaps
The length picker on the home page is a tab strip. Without JavaScript all four panels stay open and readable, which is the behaviour we wanted, but it does make the page longer. Some product titles come from the seller and are longer than they should be.
